"I am excited about the Educational Advancement Program and the opportunities it provides for ACC employees to achieve their dreams through additional education. I encourage all eligible employees to take full advantage of this program"
-Dr. Richard M. Rhodes ACC President/CEO
The Educational Advancement Program provides opportunities for ACC employees to pursue their educational and professional goals with the college's support. Through shared governance, each employee association steered development of the program, which was launched in Fall 2012 to maximize and enhance ACC's educational advancement offerings.
The Educational Advancement Program provides three plans for employees, depending on their individual educational or professional goals.
In conjunction with the Educational Advancement Program, HR Records directs the Educational Recognition Award. Any non-faculty employee who has held a staffing table position for at least twelve (12) consecutive months could be eligible for a one-time stipend upon earning each of the following degrees: an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, Doctoral degree, or a college credit workforce technical certificate. Each degree varies in the award amount. Applicants with advanced degrees will not be funded for obtaining lower tier degrees. Follow the directions on the following link for consideration.
