Marcus Jackson - Director, Institutional Planning, Development & Evaluation
Marcus Jackson serves as the Director for Institutional Planning & Evaluation (IP&E). He is responsible for overseeing the District-wide processes of institutional planning and program review, ensuring that all units of the College are engaged and benefit from these processes. Prior to his current position Marcus was the Director of Academic Planning & Evaluation. He joined ACC in 2010 as Coordinator of Institutional Planning & Assessment. Marcus has previously worked in higher education as an Admissions Counselor, Academic Advisor, as well as in the areas of Evaluation Services and Institutional Effectiveness and Accountability. Marcus holds a Master of Science in Education, with a specialization in Educational Psychology from Baylor University, and a B.A. in Psychology (with a Business Management minor) from Texas A&M University.
Marcus is a 2014 graduate of the ACC Leadership Academy and has served on numerous ACC councils, committees and work groups. Marcus has been published in the areas of teacher preparation, curriculum alignment, and college student development, having also presented at various local, state, regional and national conferences. His hobbies include painting, woodworking and spending quality time with family and friends.
Leah Jensen - Planning & Assessment Specialist: Institutional Planning, Development & Evaluation
Leah M. Jensen serves as the Planning and Assessment Specialist for Institutional Planning, Development & Evaluation (IP&E) at the Highland Business Center. She is responsible for supporting and maintaining the college wide assessment database (TracDat), in addition to supporting workshops and professional development in areas related to planning and assessment. Leah originally joined ACC in 2011 as a computer lab support technician for the Visual Communication Department. She has also worked for IT as a senior technician within the ACCelerator at the Highland Campus.Leah has several years of experience leading and personalizing support in academic environments. Her roles have included teaching, tutoring, technical support, and more at high schools and community colleges in Texas. She holds a Bachelors in English and graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors. She is a 2015 graduate of the ACC Leadership Academy, as well as a recipient of the ACC Bravo award for outstanding service. She is currently part of the 2017-2018 Supervisor Certificate Program cohort.
