Before you enroll be sure that you have spoken to an ACC advisor or counselor to determine if you meet the prerequisite for this course. Briefly, in order to be in MATD 0370 Elementary Algebra you must have one of the following: score on TCOM between 26 and 45 or a grade of C or better in MATD 0330 Basic Math Skills taken at ACC. Your TAKS test cannot assess your math placement, so please see an advisor if you were told that you are except from TSI based on your high school TAKS [you still may need a placement test].

Prerequisite: Students in MATH 1350 must have completed MATH 1314 College Algebra or its equivalent. Students enrolling in this course are assumed to have basic arithmetic and algebra skills. If you took College Algebra at a different college, please bring a copy of your transcript from your institution showing the course and grade to class on the first day of the semester.
