In spring 2011, Austin Community College District administered the Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) for a second time. The survey was
previously administered in spring 2008 and is being administered on a three- year cycle.
The Noel-Levitz SSI measures students’ satisfaction with a wide range of services including:
- Student Centeredness,
- Instructional Effectiveness,
- Safety & Security,
- Academic Advising Effectiveness,
- Admissions and Financial Aid Effectiveness,
- Registration Effectiveness, and
- Campus Climate.
The Noel-Levitz SSI assesses how well students’ expectations are being met by the college by asking students to rate on both importance and satisfaction.
