OIEA responds to requests for information from faculty, staff, administrators, students, and the community. Here are some guidelines to follow that will help us get the data you need.
Plan ahead.
	When making a data request, please take into account the time required to capture and report the information you are requesting, especially if you need the information by a specific date. We have a minimum turnaround of 10 business days, but depending on the complexity of the request, this time frame may be extended.
Provide details.
	Identify the critical questions you want to answer. The more information you provide about what you are trying to do with the data, the more useful the information you receive will be.
Submit your request to OIEA.
	Please submit your request online by completing a Data Request Form. If you have any questions please call (512) 223-7620 or e-mail oieinfo@austincc.edu. Please include the following:
			Name
			Title
			Department
			Classification (i.e. Faculty, Staff, Administrator, Student, Other)
			Email
			Postal Address
			Phone
			Description of the requested information
			Estimated due date
You will be contacted by an OIEA staff member to discuss your request and clarify the specific information you need.
