Institutional Effectiveness Committee

Functions:

Monitor compliance with, and ensure accountability for assessment-related requirements of SACS, THECB, and the federal government
Facilitate and provide leadership for effective college-wide evaluation of assessment processes, in support of student success
Facilitate collaborative assessment conversations at ACC
Review and evaluate best practices in student-related assessment and serve as a clearinghouse for this information
Develop and maintain an inventory of assessment activities and serve as a clearinghouse for this information
Review the effectiveness of assessment instruments/tools/practices and make appropriate recommendations, as needed

Recommendations are forwarded to the Academic and Campus Affairs Council.

FY12 Meetings: HBC Room 201, unless otherwise noted, 1:30-3:30 p.m., 3rd Friday (generally): September 16 (IPC Retreat-Room 201), October 21 (Room 201), November 18 (Room 201), February 17, March 23, April 20, and June 15.
