Recycling and Sustainability Committee

Functions:

Reviews requests and proposals for recycling projects.
Communicates interests and concerns of staff and constituency groups.
Makes recommendations regarding training on sustainability district-wide.
Submits recommendations for new initiatives to promote the College’s sustainability efforts regarding:
- Climate-neutral, environmentally supportive, and energy-efficient improvements.
- Programs to enable College faculty, staff and students to reduce energy consumption both in the workplace and during commuting.

Recommendations: Forwarded to Administrative Services Council.

FY12 Meeting Dates: All meetings held in HBC Room 502, 1:30-2:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted), on the following dates: September 29, October 27, February 23, March 29, April 26, May 31, and June 28. There will be no meetings November-January or July.
