quiz with your e-mail address. Read chapters on setting, conflict, and
central idea in ASS; choose a science fiction or mystery selection to
analyze; read the assignment carefully and read class notes |
June 2 |
Paper 1 (Setting,
Conflict, and Central idea) due; read the chapters on character and
point of view and assigned story choice and study the assignment sheet |
June 7 |
Paper 2 (Character and
Point of View) due; read chapters on language and tone and assigned story
choice and class notes |
June 13 |
Paper 3 (Language and
Tone) due; review fiction elements and read assigned story choice and study
the assignment sheet and class notes |
June 19 |
Paper 4 (All Elements)
due; review elements for the C test and class notes and C test |
June 23 |
C test deadline*; C tests
may be taken at any campus but must be sent to me at Pinnacle Campus;
I will receive the test the next day at Pinnacle but it could be days
from other campuses. You may work on your B paper but cannot submit
it until I have accepted your C test. |
June 28 |
B paper due. Students who
haven't had paper 4 accepted will be withdrawn by the ACC withdrawal
date. |
July 3 |
Final deadline for all
papers; B rewrites or A papers. No rewrites on A papers, and if you are
turning in a B paper, you will not be turning in an A. |
June 28 |
Deadline for retakes of C
test *Be sure that I have
accepted your C test so that you do not miss out on the opportunity to
retest. Students who are not advancing beyond the C test will have completed
the course after they have had their C tests accepted. |
