World Literature I

In this course, English 2332, students focus on Western literature of the Ancient World, Middle Ages, and Renaissance periods, excluding British and American, reading poetry, drama, and prose.

Students: You need to read through all course materials as an orientation for the class, take the orientation quiz, and send it back to me the first day of class. Please send me your ACC e-mail address as soon as registration ends. You must meet ACC's prerequisite requirements. Fax me your proof of prerequisites for English 1301 and 1302, unless they were taken at ACC. If I need them for ACC, I will ask you for them. Any document you send me must display the institution's name and your name. You may have submitted a transcript to ACC, but it may not have been evaluated and made available on-line. We will use Blackboard primarily for announcements and grades. Emails and Blackboard announcements are part of the instruction for the course and should be read carefully and in a timely manner.

Refer to this site regularly in case of changes and check your ACC email account daily.

Students must submit a correct and completed orientation quiz by Friday of the first week (Wednesday in the summer) and complete and acceptable proof of prerequisites by Friday of the second week of the course (first Friday in the summer) or they will be withdrawn.
