Bret Brookshire

I want to take photographs that tell what we do and how we live in our world. So I earned a Master's Degree in photojournalism from U.T. Austin. Since graduating in 1992, I have been working on my own documentary projects and photographing freelance. I do publicity and archival pictures for several theater companies, run my own portrait shop, work for the Austin Chronicle, various parts of U.T. and other companies that want naturalistic commercial photography. Teaching Fundamentals of Photography excites me because I enjoy helping people to get their ideas out of the head and into a picture.
