CHARLES
GUERRERO
Charles
Guerrero has always wanted to be a photographic mentor. Having been
in the business of photography for thirty years, he has had the
opportunity to teach many people.
Mentoring
began for Mr. Guerrero, when the University of Texas asked him to
teach photography, this lasted for the next six years. Students
anticipated his energy and in return, he says he received back what
he put in.
During
his thirty years of photography experience, Charles established
the structure of photography. Since then he has embraced it to express
a style all his own. After receiving a degree from Brooks Institute,
the pace was set when he was elected as President of Austin Professional
Photographer Guild. He has actively participated in The Texas Professional
Photographers, the South West Professional Photographers, and served
on the council of the Professional Photographers of America for
the last eight years.
Charles
helped plan several national educational policies. He went on to
receive the National Award, which is given for meritorious contribution
in professional photography. Mr. Guerrero looks forward to meeting
new students. However, he requires two things if you are planning
on taking his class. First, have fun, and second, don't take yourself
too seriously.
