In 1979 I decided on a life change and left a bleak, depressing UK for the sunny land of opportunity. During a sojourn in Galveston I discovered photography, and from that point never looked back.
Moving to Austin in the early 80’s, I discovered ACC’s wonderful photography program, and while working as a photographer for a local Model and Talent agency, earned my Associates Degree in Photography.
In 1985 I opened my own Photography studio, which I still own and operate, and soon after was fortunate enough to be able to become an instructor in that same ACC photography program.
During the past 15 years or so as an adjunct Associate Professor here at ACC I have had the privilege of teaching many talented students, with courses in fundamental, and intermediate photography, and as of the last several years both Portrait classes.
