Meetings
The departmental meetings are open to all who wish to attend. College policy requires attendance by full-time faculty, but adjunct faculty are quite welcome and are crucial to the functioning of the department and establishing departmental policies. Meetings are traditionally held at 10:00 a.m. on the first Friday each month, excepting August and months starting with the letter "J". The meetings rotate between campuses. The Department Chair will notify the faculty if a meeting needs to be rescheduled, but this is rare.
Committee meetings are held whenever they are most convenient. The chair of a committee is responsible for notifying the members of the committee of the meeting times and places.
