Please note:  If you completed Intermediate Algebra more than two years ago, or received a C, or the Prerequisite Review shows that your basic algebra
skills need sharpening,  I recommend that you refresh your algebra skills by first taking (or re-taking) Intermediate Algebra before embarking on College Algebra.

If you have not checked “yes” on at least one of these questions, College Algebra is probably not appropriate for you.  You should consider the courses listed in the
handout Alternatives to College Algebra.  Any of those will contribute more to your education than College Algebra, they will not be as algebra-intensive,
and will probably be more enjoyable.
