Homework Diagnostics

Thank you for your homework.  I have, however, noticed the following departures from the standards described by the handout Directions for Homework.  Please re-read those directions.

__        6.  Does not use one-column format

__        7.  Work not shown

__        8.  Problems out of order

__        9.  No room between problems

__        10.  Graphs not placed with work

__        11.  Graphs not labeled and/or scaled

__        12.  Arithmetic shown

__        13.  Notation is incorrect

__        14.  Answers appear to be copied from book

__        15.  Answers not being checked against book

__        16.  Problem directions not followed

__        17.  Mixed fractions used inappropriately

__        18. 

__        A.  You have received credit, but please observe rules on next homework

__        B.  Credit deferred  --  please redo and resubmit at next class

__        C.  Credit deferred  --  please see me for additional instructions

__        S.  It appears to me that you are struggling with the course material.  I will be glad to give you advice about getting extra help with it, or, if it is not too late, changing to a more suitable course.  Please see me after class, e-mail me, or visit me during my office hours.
