Schedule of lessons, homework, and tests – 1/17/2007

The dates below indicate the book section to be covered in class on that date.  For example, on 1/17, we will cover sections 5.0 and 5.1.  You should complete homework 5.0 and 5.1 by class time on 1/22, when you will be given an opportunity to ask questions about it and make additions/corrections.  I will also collect the Pretest on 1/22. 

See the separate handout Homework for College Math for the list of  exercises to be completed as homework for each section.  I will collect HW problems (for credit) as indicated on the schedule below.  HW will not be accepted after beginning of class on the day it is due.

The homework for each section is to be completed on a separate sheet (or sheets) of paper.  If more than one sheet is required for a section, staple them together in the upper left-hand corner.  Please do not staple separate section assignments together.  Identify each homework by section (not date). For example, inscribe “ Homework 5.0” at the top of  HW 5.0 (along with your name, of course), and similarly for 5.1.
