If you have not checked "yes" on at least one of the starred (*) questions (1, 4, or 6), College Algebra is probably not appropriate for you. You should consider the courses listed in the handout Alternatives to College Algebra. Any of those will contribute more to your general education than College Algebra, they will not be as algebra-intensive, and will probably be more interesting.
