Register & Pay for Classes: A Step-by-Step Guide
ACC's advisors and counselors  can be an enormous help in answering questions and selecting courses, but remember that you are ultimately responsible for your own preparation, deadlines, and adherence to college policies.
This page lists the steps you need to take before, during, and after each registration period. Read it thoroughly and refer back to it often.
Taking care of a few things before you register can make the process easier.
Find when you register
Your registration eligibility date  determines when you can begin registration for the upcoming semester.
- Tip: To get the best schedule possible, register as soon as you are eligible.

Plan your classes
You can increase the likelihood of a successful semester if you plan your classes before it’s time to register. Planning tools include your ACC and/or transfer degree  plan, schedule planning worksheet  (PDF), and the course schedule .

Review/print your schedule
After you register for classes, review and print the "Registration Results." You will not receive a confirmation email.
Print a copy of your schedule  or bring the registration results page when you arrive on campus for the first day of class. You will use the information to find your classroom.
Steps after registration

ACC OneCard  & tuition refunds
The ACC OneCard  will arrive by mail following your first registration. You must activate the card in order to receive financial aid or tuition refunds from ACC.
Canceled class notice
Schedule changes  (adds/drops)
When a new semester or session starts, students can make schedule changes by adding or dropping classes. Note that adding classes is restricted to current and former students, while dropping a class may have unexpected consequences .
