Instructional Program Review
Checklist

|
1.
|
Review data collected by your program that are related to the delivery of your mission
or the performance of your program. |
|
2.
|
Review and analyze program information including: |
|
|
the previous IPR Summary Report (including SWOT analysis) for the program |
|
|
previous student learning outcomes assessment plans (in U-LEAD) |
|
|
previous annual action plan follow-up reports/Quality Improvement Follow-Up Plans |
|
|
other relevant data collected by the program |
|
3.
|
Gather and analyze additional data from students and industry as needed to thoroughly review the program |
|
4.
|
Schedule and participate in a facilitated SWOT analysis to identify program strengths and weakness, as well as
the opportunities and threats from the external environment |
|
5.
|
Create new or review and revise as needed the current program vision statement |
|
6.
|
Make program improvement recommendations that include action plans and resource
allocation needs based on findings of the review |
|
7.
|
Complete the IPR Summary and the Quality Improvement Plan |
|
8.
|
Share all reports with the Department/Program faculty and Dean |
|
9.
|
Submit the Instructional Program Review Summary and the Quality Improvement Plan
to the Effectiveness and Accountability office to post to the IPR web site. |

Enter the program’s Master Plan initiative and performance measure into the ACCeMasterPlan database. |
