Instructional Program Review Outcomes

The intended outcomes of Instructional Program Review process include the following:

The Self-Study Chair for the program will submit an Instructional Program Review Summary (IPRS) report and a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) every first year of a five year cycle, per the Schedule of Reviews.
Instructional Program Review Summary reports will be based on quantitative and qualitative evidence.
Instructional Program Review Summary reports will represent honest appraisals of program strengths and weaknesses.
The program’s five-year Quality Improvement Plan will be related to the Instructional Program Review Summary report recommendations.
The program’s five-year Quality Improvement Plan will be focused on enhancing student preparation for continuing higher education or joining the workforce.
An initiative of the Quality Improvement Plan will be prioritized with Master Plan initiatives.
The Department Chair for the program will submit a Quality Improvement Plan Update (QIPU) in the second through fifth years of the review cycle.
