Background

Bob Blodgett has taught geology and environmental science at Austin Community College (ACC) since 1995.  He loves teaching and has been on the faculty of Ohio State University, Dickinson College, and Chapman University.  He has also taught geology at Cranbrook Institute of Science and Oakland University.  Bob has worked as a geologist at the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, Texas Department of Health, Texas Bureau of Economic Geology, Exxon Production Research Corporation, and Shell Oil Company.  He is currently a Professor of Geology in the ACC Department of Physical Sciences where he teaches courses in geology and environmental science.
