Welcome to COSC 1301, Personal Computing, Spring 2010. This is an online course taught by Rachel Brewton, Adjunct Instructor, Department of Computer Science. Most of our course will be taught via Blackboard. For orientation purposes, this website is a good starting point.
Orientation
First, you should read and print the syllabus. Then check your ACC Gmail account. You should have a Welcome email. Reply to that email with the information requested. Then login to Blackboard and watch the Welcome Powerpoint slideshow. Then take Orientation Quiz. The Orientation Quiz does count as your first lab grade. Most of the information covered will greatly attribute to your success in this course.
