1. You will need to download the following from my web site at www.austincc.edu/rebhist.html:

     1. HIST 2312 PCM syllabus for appropriate semester
     2. HIST 2312 PCM learning objectives
     3. Supplemental readings

2. You will need to send your Student Information Sheet, filled out, to my email address: mrebhorn@austincc.edu.  The Student Information Sheet is reproduced below.  You can also find it as the last page of the HIST 2312 PCM learning objectives.

3. You will also need to send to my email address above the answers to the following questions:

    a. Do you understand that all deadlines must be observed and that work done after the deadlines will not count?

    b. Do you understand that you will need to have the textbook and sidebars available only online at Blackboard?    Two hard copies of the texts are available on reserve at the Rio Grande and Northridge libraries.

    c. Do you understand that the tests are multiple choice and have you reveiwed the sample test questions in the HIST 2312 PCM learning objectives?

    d. Do you understand the grading system?

    e. Do you understand that you are entitled to one retest for EACH test, but that the highest score on this retest is a 21 and that the retesting must be done BEFORE the deadline
        date?

    f. Do you understand you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SUBMIT REQUIRED PAPERS BY EMAIL.  You will need to use US post, drop them off at my office, or send through
        ACC campus mail BY THE DEADLINE DATE!

4. I will reply to your email indicating I have received your Student Information sheet and question answers.  Only when you have received this email reply will you be considered to have been oriented.  You must do this by Thursday, January 22, 2009.

5. If you do not attend complete the online orientation by Thursday August 28, 2008, YOU WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE COURSE.
