Biology Innovation Lab is a novel initiative of the Biology Department at Austin Community College to implement interactive courses with strong tutor support to increase retention and completion in Biology courses leading up to health sciences programs. Students registering for these courses will have online access to rigorously interactive lecture modules which will be followed up with classroom discussions, activities and assessment.
The mainstay of the program is the constant real time feedback to help guide student learning. Biology Innovation Lab integrates all learning styles and academic backgrounds to help maximize students’ understanding of biology.
