WHAT’S IN THIS MONTH’S EDITION OF THE RIVERSIDE CAMPUS EAGLE From Frank Taylor, ACC Riverside Campus Manager In this month’s edition of The Riverside Campus Eagle, I have decided to feature two Instructional Support areas, the Learning Lab and Campus Police. You will meet and see the faces of these hard working, dedicated employees of ACC who play a very valuable role in the success of this campus. People who are committed to the mission of the college by their passion to provide a high standard of customer service to our students, faculty, and staff. WE HAVE A NEW CONTRACT CLEANING COMPANY ON CAMPUS Effective Friday, October 1, 2004, Marcis and Associates came aboard as the new contract cleaning company for ACC district-wide, which includes the Riverside Campus. Marcis and Associates is a company based in Houston, Texas with experience in cleaning educational facilities. The contract with Varsity Contractors, Inc. ended on September 30, 2004. We are in the process of making this very important transition from one company to the next and there may be some cleaning issues that you have noticed and you have not reported them to the Riverside Campus Administrative Office (223-6000). Our day cleaning staff and the new night cleaning company is making every attempt to bring the campus up to standard as soon as possible. Please notify me immediately via e-mail or telephone regarding any areas of need for custodial cleaning services.		THE RIVERSIDE CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE HAS A NEW STAFF PERSON ON BOARD! Meiling Williams has been hired to fill the vacant Administrative Assistant II position in the Riverside Campus Administrative Office. “I am really looking forward to working at ACC and providing service to the faculty, staff and students on the Riverside Campus.” Meiling started in her position on October 11, 2004.
