Who is eligible to receive a book voucher?
Students who are receiving a scholarship designated as tuition, fees and books only may be eligible to receive a book voucher. If any scholarship funds remain after tuition and fees have been paid, you will be mailed a letter indicating you have a book voucher. Letters will be sent to the address on file with Admissions & Records.

When will I receive my book voucher?
Book voucher letters will be mailed out beginning the week before classes start to the address on file with Admissions & Records. Once you receive the letter, that is your verfication the bookstore will have your book voucher in their system.

How do I use my book voucher to pay for my books?
You may use your book voucher at any Barnes & Noble ACC Bookstore located on an ACC campus. Once you receive the letter indicating you have a book voucher, you need only present your ACC ID card and a copy of your class schedule to the bookstore cashier. Guidelines for using the book voucher are as follows:
- The book voucher will only cover the required and recommended books for the classes in which you are registered.
- On the book voucher letter mailed out to you, there is a maximum dollar limit. At the time of purchase, you will be responsible for any amount over this limit or for items not covered by the book voucher.
- If the scholarship designates supplies as an approved expense, this will be noted on the voucher. Supplies include only those needed for the classes listed on the book voucher and do not cover items such as apparel, food items, desk accessories and decorative items.
- NOTE: If the bookstore you choose does not have you electronically in their system with an approved amount, you cannot use the book voucher at that store. To purchase from that vendor, you will need to get approval by the Scholarship Coordinator or pay for the books out of your own pocket and get reimbursed.

What if I already purchased my books?
If you choose, you may purchase your books from a vendor that does not accept an ACC Book Voucher. Once you purchase your books, you will need to submit your itemized receipt to any ACC Financial Aid Office. Only books for the classes in which you are enrolled will be reimbursed. Refunds will be sent to you according to your ACC OneCard preference. Note: Only students who are eligible to receive a book voucher are eligible for book receipt reimbursement.
