Hazard Communication On-Line Training

This training will satisfy the requirements of the annual HazCom refresher training. New employees will need to attend an in-person training offered by the EHS and Insurance Office. These in-person trainings will be offered once a semester.

This online training will not take the place of the Department-Specific Safety Training. Department-Specific training will continue to be in person.

Fulfillment of the training requirements will involve the following steps:

1. You will review the HazCom Power Point Presentation.

2. You will take the quiz for your department, being sure to enter your name and proper e-mail address.

3. The Science Safety Coordinator will grade your quiz.

• If you make 100%, you will have completed the training and will receive 1 hour of Faculty/Professional Development Training credit.
• If you make <100%, you will need to retake the exam. Exam versions will be changed out routinely, so you are not guaranteed to receive the same exam each time.
