Mission:
The mission of the Accreditation Project is to assist child care program directors in improving the quality of care they provide for children and families. The NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria provide the tools to assess program quality and develop an individualized Program Improvement Plan.
Goal:
Our goal is to provide: NAEYC accreditation support for childcare centers serving Austin / Travis County families. NAEYC Accreditation consultations and trainings are offered to inform providers and parents about the new NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria.
Full participation is available for programs serving 25% low income families. An application for participation in this program may be
printed and faxed ((512) 223-5219) or sent via regular mail to the address below.
Austin area Child Care Center Directors engaged in NAEYC Accreditation Self Study are invited to attend monthly Director Study and Network meetings and / or request free Accreditation site consultation or trainings.
