Scott is a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1993. Additionally, Scott has managed health clubs, founded a variety of businesses, worked in the telecom space and even held the position of Vice President of an international online learning company. Although he enjoys developing businesses, his most sincere passion has always been teaching and motivating others, and now he is living his dream as an Adjunct Professor in the Management Department and the Chairman of Educational Experts for the National Speakers Association.

Scott is originally from Boston, MA, but after purchasing a motor-home with his girlfriend Kim (now his wife), they travelled around the country working as Promotional Directors for Citibank while also looking at graduate schools. Scott and Kim retired from their travels and made the choice to attend Texas State University where Scott would later be awarded an MBA and Kim a Masters in Exercise Science. Shortly after graduation, Scott and Kim purchased a house in Austin where they still reside.

Aside from his work, Scott loves to travel and enjoys almost any adventure, especially if it involves spending time with his two-year old daughter, Kayla.
