Aerobic exercise to music. Students will be provided with an opportunity to strengthen their cardiorespiratory system, decrease percent body fat, tone and firm muscles, and increase flexibility. This course will also increase energy, mental clarity and teach students how to live a healthy lifestyle. The class will incorporate high and low impact aerobics, bench-step, slide, kick-boxing, body sculpting, and rollerball. Three-quarters of the workout consists of a warm-up, a 30-40 minute aerobic workout and a cool-down. The last quarter will be spent toning and strengthening different parts of the body, followed by a stretch segment at the end of the workout.

In addition to aerobic workouts there will be a 15-minute segment during each class which provides information on how to improve health and fitness. There will be two skills test, one midterm and one final.
