The Special Populations
program administers ACC's Carl D. Perkins grant. The Perkins
grant is used to improve, innovate and/or expand technical
education programs. This is done by funding projects in
technical education that:
- Improve and/or expand programs or
curricula;
- Provide professional development
activities for staff;
- Provide supplementary services to
students identified as being part of a special
population;
- Provide career guidance and/or
counseling.
