The Board of Trustees' Study Abroad Scholarship awards $2,000 to be applied to the recipient’s program fee. Students applying to non-ACC study abroad programs are eligible to apply as well.

Applications will be ranked based on an essay, financial need, GPA, and faculty recommendations. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Preference will be given to students participating in ACC faculty-led study abroad programs.
Recipients must register for and pass all study abroad program courses. If a student fails to complete minimum credits by the start of the program, drops/withdraws/fails one or more of the study abroad program courses, voluntarily terminates participation, does not comply with the ACC Student Code of Conduct or study abroad program rules, or is sent home during a study abroad program, the student will be billed for the entire amount of the scholarship.
Scholarship applications can be submitted starting August 28, 2017, until March 9, 2018. Applications will be processed March 19-23, 2018 and students notified starting March 26, 2018.
