ESOL Assessment

ACC’s ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Program requires an assessment to be eligible to take classes. The ESOL assessment includes a written exam, computer test and oral interview to measure your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking levels. In some cases, your results may indicate you do not need ESOL classes.

ESOL Assessment Steps

Step 1: Oral Interview

Register for an oral interview appointment at calendly.com/esol-acc. Attend the appointment before you begin Step 2.

Step 4: Advising Appointment

Register for an ESOL advising appointment at calendly.com/esol-acc. At the appointment, the assessor will explain your test scores, placement levels and how to register.

If you are an international student, contact the International Student Office before testing.
