  • Between April 28-May 21 for current and former students
  • May 5-May 21 for new, current and former students:

Saturday-Fridays

9am-5pm

Exceptions: Telephone registration lines and web registration close at 5 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, May 21
  • Thursday, May 29
  • Wednesday, July 2
  • Wednesday, July 9

Important facts about open registration

  • You may register for classes that have not yet started any time the registration system is available.
  • You do not need to wait to register for short-session classes starting mid-semester. All short-session classes are open when the registration period begins.
  • You can register for classes any time on or after your eligibility date
  • After registering, you are permitted to return to the phone or web registration system to:
    - Add classes
    - Drop classes
    - Check your payment status
    - Confirm your class schedule
  • Tuition and fees are due immediately following your registration. You must meet the tuition payment deadline in order to stay enrolled in a class.

April 28: Current and former students are eligible to register, depending on the number of ACC semester credit hours, including hours in progress (see the chart below):

Regular registration ends:

  • May 21 for the 11-, 9-, and First 5.5-week sessions
  • July 2 for the Second 5.5-week session

Only schedule changes (adds/drops) and canceled classes changes are allowed after those dates. After regular registration is over, you may still register for classes starting later in the semester.

Canceled class changes

Occasionally, a class may be because of insufficient enrollment or for administrative reasons. In the event ACC cancels a class for which you are registered, you may choose to add a substitute class during the following dates:

Students who have registered for the semester may choose to add or drop classes during the following dates.

Important: Adding, dropping, or withdrawing may affect financial aid, veterans' benefits, international student status, or academic standing. See an advisor, counselor or the appropriate department for assistance before making changes.
