ATTENTION: Orientation is available for students at the beginning of fall and spring semesters. Currently, summer students do not need to register for an orientation session.
Orientation is offered though the office of Student Life and helps new ACC students make the college transition as smooth as possible. Our goal is to answer all your questions, put your fears to rest and help you get started on the right foot. During orientation you will learn:
- The ins and outs of ACC
- How to succeed in college
- Ways to get involved and meet new friends
- And so much more!
Orientation sessions are approximately 2 hours long.
Students please bring your student ID with you. If you don’t have your student ID please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled orientation so you can get your student ID.
We have a wide range of orientation dates and times, to accommodate the needs of our busy students.
Spring orientation registration begins November 9.
There are three ways students can register for the orientation program:
Spaces for orientation do fill up fast so we encourage you to registerat least one week in advance.
Orientation is mandatory for new students who have completed fewer than 12 semester credit hours. Students can take the orientation after they have registered for classes. Students can participate in orientation after the school semester starts.
