International students wishing to study here as an F-1 student must complete the following procedures to be considered for admission.
ACC admissions process
Step 1: TOEFL assessment
Have an official TOEFL score sent directly to our school. The ACC school code is: 6759. Minimum scores are: computer: 197; paper: 530; Internet-based: 71. |

Step 2: Application

Step 3: Transcripts
Send official high school transcripts (college if applicable). Transcripts must be translated into English. |

Step 4: Financial support
Fill out the Statement of Financial Support (PDF). The affidavit must be verified with a bank seal or submitted with an official bank statement. | |

Step 5: Submit documents together
Mail your admissions documents to: Austin Community College, International Student Office, 1020 Grove Blvd., Austin, Texas 78741. Your admissions packet should include all of the following:
- Supplemental Application for International Students
- Emergency Contact Form
- Statement of Financial Support
- Current passport photo
- $100 application fee (non-refundable)
- Official Transcripts with English translations
- TOEFL score (can arrive separately)

Step 6: Notification and visa
You will be notified by mail whether you have been accepted to ACC. Once accepted, you will need to obtain an F-1 visa and plan your travel to the United States. Your acceptance letter will include additional information and assessment requirements.

Transfer Students - Additional Requirements
International students transferring from another U.S. college or university must submit a current passport, I-94 card, I-20 form, and ACC's International Transfer IN request (PDF). These documents are required in addition to those listed in the steps above.
Note: The International Transfer IN request must be completed by your current institution’s international student advisor by the end of the semester.
