Students get discount at upcoming Asian Film Festival
Over 65 Asian/American films will be playing around town at the 4th Annual Austin Asian Film Festival, and students pay a discounted price! CinemaAsia invites all ACC students to attend this wonderful event promoting Asian film and culture. Another health care option for students & families
Students or their family members who need convenient, walk-in health care now have another option in Austin. Some CVS pharmacy stores around town include MinuteClinic facilities. According to their website, MinuteClinic is a retail healthcare provider offering treatment for common family ailments (such as strep throat, ear infections, sinus infections, etc.) and vaccinations at affordable prices. Most insurance is accepted and services cost between $28 and $110. MinuteClinics are open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Explore Sam Houston State University
Students who are interested in transferring to Sam Houston State University should check out the Saturday @ SAM campus preview day. It will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Sam Houston campus in Huntsville, TX. Students will get a chance to explore the campus and receive information about academics, student organizations, and so much more.
