All new F-1 status students must attend a mandatory orientation session before registering for classes. Sessions are held at the Riverside Campus, Building G, Room 8100. International students should contact the International Student Office at Riverside Campus, Building G, Room 8105 or by phone at (512) 223-6241, to reserve a time. All new F-1 and M-1 international students are required to attend the international student orientation. The orientation is designed to ensure academic success while studying at ACC. We will cover the life and study skills you will need while studying in the US as well as information about Texas culture and immigration regulations that relate to your particular visa category.

ISO Orientation

Welcome to ACC! We are very pleased that you have chosen Austin Community College as part of your academic career, and we have scheduled an International Student Orientation to help you transition smoothly into life at ACC. This orientation is MANDATORY for all F-1 visa students during their first semester at ACC, so please make arrangements to attend. If you do not attend, a hold will be placed on your academic record and it will not be removed until you complete orientation.

There are no ISO orientations for the summer session.

  • The orientation is free, so there is no payment information requested.
• Checkout and then complete the information requested.
• You will REVIEW the order, and then SUBMIT the order to confirm your attendance to the International Student Orientation.
