F-1 visa holders enrolled in a U.S. university or college may take classes at ACC for transfer back to their primary institution.
Fall or spring semesters
The following are required:
- Official Letter of Good Standing – This letter must be from the International Student Advisor or Academic Advisor at the school you attend on a full-time basis. This letter should give you permission to attend ACC on a part-time basis and indicate that you have maintained your student status while attending that institution. A new letter must be submitted prior to each future semester. (UT students must show proof of full-time enrollment in the semester immediately prior to registration at ACC.)
- Copy of current passport, U.S. visa, and I-94 (card)
- Copy of current I-20, if on an F-1 student visa
- Completion of the international student admissions process (steps 2, 3, 5, and 6)
- Residency documentation based on student employment as teaching or research assistants – You must submit documentation each semester, not later than the end of the first week of classes.
Note: F-1 students attending ACC in fall or spring must maintain full-time enrollment status at their primary institution.
Summer semester
The following are required:
- Official Enrollment Verification or Official Transcript indicating full-time enrollment during the spring semester immediately prior to summer enrollment
- Copy of current passport, U.S. visa, and I-94 (card)
- Copy of current I-20, if on an F-1 student visa
- Completion the international student admissions process (steps 2, 3, 5, and 6)
Returning students
International students who previously enrolled as visiting students must contact the International Student Office before returning.
