The Student Recruitment Office offers guided tours of the Eastview, Northridge, Riverside, and Round Rock campuses on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am-3pm by appointment. Group tours (10 or more participants) are only offered in conjunction with departmental tours. Tour requests must be submitted at least 48 business hours prior to the actual tour date. All tours are subject to departmental availability.

General Tours

General tours of our Eastview, Northridge, Riverside, and Round Rock campuses are held on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment between 9am-3pm. General tours are only available to individuals or small groups of less than 10 students. These tours generally run 20-25 minutes and cover the following:

• Student Services
• Admissions
• Assessment
• Financial Aid
• Advising & Counseling
• Learning Lab
• Student Life
• Student Lounge
• Cafeteria

To minimize disruption on students attending classes, general tours do not include tours of specific departments (Health Sciences, Automotive, Culinary Arts, etc.). Department tour guidelines are outlined below.

Health Science Tours

Health Science tours are held at our Eastview and Round Rock campuses on Fridays at 9:30am by appointment only. Health Science tours must be requested a minimum of two weeks in advance of the tour date and must be specifically requested on the registration form. No tours are booked during the last two weeks of the semester due to finals.

Department Tours

The following tours are offered every Tuesday and Friday between 9am-12pm:

• Commercial Music Management (Northridge)
• Culinary Arts (Eastview)
• Game Development (Northridge)

The following tours are offered on the last Friday of each month between 9am-12pm:

• Automotive (Riverside & Round Rock)
• Building Construction Technology (Riverside & Round Rock)
• Heating and Air Conditioning (Riverside & Round Rock)
• Welding (Riverside & Round Rock)
• Electronics (Riverside)

College Connection Tours

College Connection tours for Applied Technology Departments are offered on the second Friday of each month between 9am and 12pm. HealthScience tours are offered to College Connection groups on the third Fridays of each month at 9:30am.

Tour Length

General tours generally run 20-25 minutes. Departmental tours vary in length of time and generally will not exceed 1 hour, with the exception of Health Sciences which may last up to 2.5 hours.

Size Limitations

The maximum number of campus tour participants is 25 students. This will help to ensure the college can continue to provide its routine services without blocking student pathways.

Chaperones

We require that one adult chaperone is present for every ten students.
