ACC is ready for future Plug-In Electric Vehicles

Plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) are coming, and we need to be ready. Austin Energy expects one out of every ten cars on Central Texas roads to be PEVs by 2020. (www.austinenergy.com)

ACC has joined Austin Energy's  Plug-In EVerywhere™ Network.

(2) level II charging stations are installed at each location below.

(4) hour time limit parking spaces are reserved for Electric Vehicles or ACC's Green Cars(ACC's permit is required).

Also two charging stations will be available at Round Rock Campus as part of Charge Point America Grant Project. Austin Energy's Plug-In EVerywhere Account won't be available for this location.

ChargePoint America is a program sponsored by Coulomb Technologies to provide electric vehicle charging infrastructure to nine selected regions in the United States. This made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act through the Transportation Electrification Initiative administered by the Department of Energy and the objective is to accelerate the development and production of electric vehicles to substantially reduce petroleum consumption, reduce greenhouse gas production, and create jobs.
