Role in Shared Governance

Institutional decision making at ACC is supported by a system of Shared Governance composed of councils and committees that function as recommending bodies with respect to matters that fall under their sphere of responsibility. About the Vice President, Instruction

Mike Midgley serves as Vice President, Instruction, with administrative responsibility for the College’s credit/transfer programs, credit workforce programs, continuing education, adult education, and international programs.  Mike came to ACC as a full-time faculty member in Accounting in 1989, and has held various positions within the college since that time, including Department Chair, Division Chair, Dean, and Associate Vice President.  He has also served as president of the Full-time Faculty Senate.  Prior to joining ACC, Mike worked as a practicing CPA with both local and international

Welcome to the Office of the Vice President of Instruction

This Office serves the College in its implementation and evaluation of instructional programs and the departments supporting faculty with the necessary tools and resources they need to help students reach their goals. In addition, it also works with the community and local ISDs in support of the College's mission to promote student success and improve communities by providing affordable access to higher education and workforce training in the eight-county service area.
