Scott Mogull: Austin Community College CoursesBackgroundI've been teaching at the college and university level for over ten years--with just over five years here in the Business & Technical Communication Program at ACC. I've taught several sections of "Graphics for Business, Government and Technical Information," "Book-Length Documents with Microsoft Word," and "Technical Writing," and I'm developing a new course entitled "Writing Statistics for Information Specialists." In addition to teaching, I've spent eight years in the biotechnology and molecular diagnostics industry. I've held several positions that use the skills developed in technical communication: technical writer, product manager, marketing manager, and coordinator of global technical information. I am currently an Associate Professor Adj. at Austin Community College, working on a Ph.D. in Technical Communication at Texas Tech University, and copyeditor of Technical Communication Quarterly, the journal of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing (ATTW). I look forward to helping develop your technical writing skills in one of the several courses offered through the Business & Technical Communication program. Education
