Teacher Certification

  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings; days vary with course offerings.
  • 6:00-9:00 PM, times vary with course offerings

ParaEducators

  • The next ParaEducator Institute will be held in September, February, and June. Only the 3-day session qualifies students for the "No Child Left Behind" requirements. Those students passing all requirements independently will earn a ParaEducator Certificate; others will earn a Professional Development certificate.
  • Students may take the 3-day session (21 hours), Special Ed session (7 hours), or the 4-day session (28 hours) (9:00-5:00).

Substitute Teachers

  • The next online course will be offered in July 2010, lasting three weeks.
  • Online; students must have personal computer with Internet connection and email address on registration card.

Professional Development Courses

  • Offered during at various times
  • 9:00-4:00 (most courses are 7 hours)

Childcare Courses

  • Saturdays, 9:00-1:00, for 4 hours. Series are 8 hours on two Saturdays with a $5 savings.
