What is the benefit of technical certification?
The primary motivators for most people attending technical certification training
are to further their career goals, and seeking knowledge that will help them perform
their jobs more effectively and confidently. Hands-on training programs give you the
advantage of practicing with the technology in a controlled environment, without the
distraction of users pounding on your door.
While hiring managers are always going to first look at your work experience,
certifications can give you an edge over non-certified candidates. Technical
certifications prove to employers or potential employers that you:

How do I get certified?
To achieve certification, you must pass the related certification exam. These examinations
are administered by the vendor, and are purchased separately from the course.
Be sure to visit the vendor’s web site for current information on the certification exams,
pricing, and test objectives. Especially study the test objectives, as this is exactly what
the vendor’s test will cover. Training programs at ACC will prepare you for the exam through
lecture, reading, discussion, and hands-on practice.

Bookstore.
- For Localization courses, see your instructor for more
information on required textbooks.

provided in class.
