ITSE 2075 Android Programming (42 hours)
This course covers the Android system, the Android development tools, and all that is needed to create Android applications, using the Java programming language. Learn how to create user interfaces, use the storage and SQL databases in Android, consume services on the web and use the sensors. Students will leave this class being able to write functional Android programs.
- A minimum of one year of computer programming in object oriented languages, preferably using Java. Students must submit a code sample at the first class meeting as a condition of admission to the course.
- Students must have access to laptop with Eclipse IDE and Android Development Tool.
