ITNX 9001 MCTS & MCITP Server Administrator Server 2008 Series (264 hours)

The MCTS & MCITP_Server2008_Administration_Series includes ITNX 7016 MCTS Network Infrastructure, ITNX 7017 MCTS Active Directory & ITMC 2073 Planning and Administering Windows Server 2008 Servers Prerequisites: A+ & Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge of computers and operating systems.

ITNX 7016: MCTS Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Series (120 hours)

Prerequisites:A+ & Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge of computers and operating systems.

ITMC 1071 Fundamentals of Windows Server 2008 (48 hrs)
This course introduces students to network and applications infrastructure concepts and configurations provided by Window Server 2008. Students will be able to acquire a fundamental understanding in order to pursue advanced topics available for certification in the network and applications infrastructure areas. MOC 6420.

Prerequisites: A+ & Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge of computers and operating systems.

ITMC 1072 Fundamentals of Windows Server 2008 Active Directory (24 hrs)
This course provides Active Directory Technology Specialists an introduction to Active Directory server roles in Windows Server 2008. The course is intended for entry level students who want to get familiar with the Active Directory server roles and their basic functionality. MOC 6424.

Prerequisites: ITMC 1071 or equivalent..

ITMC 1073 Configuring and Troubleshooting a Windows Server 2008 (48 hrs)
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure. Students will learn to implement and configure secure network access and implement fault tolerant storage technologies. Students will gain an understanding of the network technologies most commonly used with Windows Server 2008 and IP-enabled networks. Students will also learn how to secure servers and maintain update compliance. MOC 6421.

Prerequisites: ITMC 1072.

ITMC 1074 Deploying Windows Server 2008 (24 hrs)
This course provides students with an understanding of migrating and deploying Windows Server 2008 including installation, configuration, and upgrading. Special emphasis is given to upgrading common server configurations and using the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. MOC 6418.

Prerequisites: ITNX 7117 MCTS Server 2008 Network Infrastructure certification or equivalent.

ITMC 2071 Configuring Server 2008 Active Directory Domain Services (48 hrs)
The goal of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that IT Professionals need to configure identity and access solutions with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory. MOC 6425.

Prerequisites:ITNX 7117 MCTS Server 2008 Network Infrastructure certification or equivalent.

ITMC 2072 Configuring Identity and Access Solutions for Server 2008 (24 hrs)
This course provides the knowledge and skills that IT Professionals need to configure identity and access solutions with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory. MOC 6426.

Prerequisites:MCTS plus ITMC 2071 or equivalent.
