ITNW 7017: MCSA Win2K3 Series (192 hours)

ITMT 1000: Implement & Support WIN2K3 XP Professional (48 hrs)
The purpose of this course is to address the implementation and desktop support needs of customers that are planning to deploy and support Microsoft Windows XP Professional in a variety of stand-alone and network operating system environments. It provides in-depth, hands-on training for Information Technology (IT) professionals responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and support of Windows XP Professional. MOC 2272.

Prerequisites: A+ & Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge of computers and operating systems.

ITMT 1040: Manage & Maintain WIN2K3 XP Server Environment (48 hrs)
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are required to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment. MOC 2273.

Prerequisites: ITMT 1000.

ITMT 1050: WIN2K3 Network Infrastructure (48 hrs)
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to implement, manage, and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 network infrastructure. The course is intended for systems administrator and systems engineer candidates who are responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining server networking technologies. These tasks include implementing routing; implementing, managing, and maintaining Dynamic Host Confi guration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), and Windows Internet Name Service (WINS); securing Internet Protocol (IP) traffi c with Internet Protocol security (IPSec) and certifi cates; implementing a network access infrastructure by confi guring the connections for remote access clients; and managing and monitoring network access. Prerequisites: ITMT 1040.

ITMT 2046: Security in a WIN2K3 Network (48 hrs)
This course addresses the MCSA and MCSE skills path for IT Pro security practitioners, specifi cally addressing the training needs of those preparing for the 70-299 certifi cation exam. The primary product focus is on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 based infrastructure solutions but will include some client focused content where appropriate. This learning product is to provide functional skills in planning and implementing infrastructure security. This course is part of the Security Portfolio and will act as the primary entry point for IT Professionals at the implementation level. MOC 2823. ITMT 1050.

Prerequisites: A+ & Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge of computers and operating systems. An MCSA candidate should have six to twelve months of prior experience working with Windows-based computers and an existing network infrastructure.
