The Academic Testing Centers provide an atmosphere conducive to testing for Austin Community College District's college credit courses. We're located at all the major ACC campuses, in Fredericksburg at the Fredericksburg High School, and in San Marcos at the San Marcos Goodnight Center. Our hours of operation vary by campus/center so be sure to check to make sure we're here.

Services for Students

We offer a variety of testing services for students including standard paper/pencil academic testing, secure online testing, makeup testing, retesting, challenge exams, and at some locations, assessment services. When visiting a Testing Center, please make sure you have your ACC Photo ID card and have read our Student Guidelines for Testing. Students requiring special testing accommodations should contact the Office for Students with Disabilities.

Services for Faculty

We offer makeup testing and retesting for all courses and initial testing for all Distance Learning and approved lecture courses. Exams can be administered as basic written exams, objective or scan-based exams, on the computer using our Secure Online Testing service or any combination of the three. Exams for Distance Learning courses must be submitted to all locations. However, exams for lecture courses may be submitted to as many or as few centers as necessary; although, to minimize wait lines, we do encourage as broad of a distribution as possible. When visiting a Testing Center, please make sure you have read our Faculty Use Guidelines. New to the ACC Testing Centers? Please review our Getting Started Guide for Faculty.
