Academic Testing Services

Students must adhere to all ACC Student Handbook policies and our Student Guidelines.  For your convenience, you will be provided with a locker when available for your possessions, including your cell phone and other electronic devices.  Do not bring any electronic devices, except calculators when applicable, in to the Testing Center and be aware that possession of an unauthorized electronic device in the testing lab, whether it’s on or off, will result in the revocation of testing privileges for the remainder of the semester and may also result in additional disciplinary action.

Assessment Testing Services

Compass (Placement/TSI/ESOL) and Anatomy/Physiology Assessment services are available through the Assessment Centers. Please visit the Assessment website for more information.

Challenge Exams

Challenge Exams are offered for a variety of courses. For more information, see the Course Challenge Information page. Before a Challenge Exam can be administered, you must present a Course Challenge Form and paid fee receipt.

Proctoring Services and High Stakes/Certification Testing

If you need proctoring services for a course at another college or need information about high stakes/certification testing, please visit the Business Assessment Center's site for more information.

Testing for Incompletes

The instructor should plainly state his/her policy regarding incomplete grades in the course syllabus. When awarding an incomplete, instructors must complete the appropriate form. Students must present the incomplete grade form that has been completed by their instructor. The form establishes proper documentation regarding tests the student must take and the deadline for doing so.

To remove grades of Incomplete, students are required to bring one of the following:

  • Report of Incomplete Grade Form with the instructor's signature.
  • Email verification from instructor's ACC email account.
  • Verfication from the Admissions & Records office.

Tests Requiring Special Accommodations

Students requiring special testing accommodations should contact the Office for Students with Disabilities.
